Data is starting to reflect optimism within the home building industry. In January the National Association of Home Builders/Wells Fargo builder sentiment index rose four points to 25 . That's the highest level since June 2007, according to USA Today.
January’s index reading is the highest it’s been since June of 2007 and only the third time it has been at or above 20 in the last two years.
NAHB Chief Economist David Crowe said "Builders are seeing greater interest among potential buyers as employment and consumer confidence slowly improve in a growing number of markets."
